A little nonsense now and then...

The continental breakfast at the hotel disappeared before I made it downstairs (a suspicious trend that lasted throughout our stay), so we were actually, technically forced to return to the Magnolia Cafe for brunch. He opted for some ginger stir-fry concoction, and I chose the hummus wrap. Again, we were not disappointed. We had both been feeling under the weather, and know from experience that travel takes a toll on our immune systems, so we stopped in a holistic haven known as the Herb Bar to pick up some preventative supplements and such before continuing on to browse through the eclectic vintage shops on 1st Avenue. The Mr. picked up a green plaid 60s-style jacket at Flashbacks, but we left Amelia’s Retro Vogue (where we helped a gentleman assemble an anamalous outfit for his spur-of-the-moment wedding) and the man-centric Brohemia empty-handed before stopping in the Once Over Coffee Bar for some espresso and a homemade chai latte
